You will enjoy staying in this 3 bedroom cosy and quirky late 19th century railway sleeper cottage situated next to Deshar Woods in the popular village of Boat of Garten near Aviemore. We are next door so can help you if you need any assistance or local recommendations. You can sit out in the private cottage courtyard patio space in which the hot tub is located. You are also welcome to use the sauna and Granlea gardens which include a children's play area, lawn, table tennis table, bbq area etc.

We are next door, but you will have complete privacy with your own entrance, driveway and parking. This area is a wildlife haven and there is a very good chance you will spot red squirrels coming to feed on the bird table outside Lovely view of the woods and gorgeous sunsets. Perfect spot for nature lovers.

The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). The long daylight hours in June make the cottage the perfect place for exploring this wonderful region, whether on foot, bike or car. Drumguish Cottage is located in the highlands of Scotland, and the Cairngorm National Park which is 1,748 square miles and larger than Luxembourg.
