Wake up in the morning to just the sounds of the birds in your retreat set in 10 acres of rural paradise. From your private terrace, set amidst the beautiful gardens, you can wander freely through the grounds. Our property is home to a great many native species, including wallabies and over 100 species of birds. We have no domestic pets. Head into Samford village for a coffee at one of the many iconic coffee shops, or take a stroll through the nearby rainforests of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo.

Part of our little community sits the Elm House Studio, a two story, hand-hewn, hardwood dream cabin in the rainforest. This one-bedroom mountain retreat (only 50 mins from Meanjin/Brisbane) includes a self-contained kitchen, luxury linens, a claw foot bath and a fireplace for all of your cosy dreams to unfold. Walking access to world-famous rainforest walks and only a 10 minute drive to swim in the beautiful ‘Pixie Pools’ and Northbrook gorge. Weddings welcome.

Currawong Self contained Cottage

Currawong Cottage is located at picturesque Kobble Creek Cottages. It is situated on the highest point of the Kobblecreek property with breathtaking elevated views of the D’Aguilar Ranges overlooking 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife and wildlife. It lies approximately 10 minutes drive from the rural village of Dayboro, or 20 minutes from Samford Village. There are two other cottages on the property namely Wonga and Figtree cottage.

Lake Cabin – Lakeside Idyll

Overlooking the peaceful beauty of Tingalpa Reservoir, located along a quiet no-through road dotted with similarly executive homes, as you drive over the hill, it feels like you have entered another world. Set on over 8000m² of land, our Lake Cabin offers that magical sense of escape, yet has two major shopping centres and everyday amenities just a few minutes’ drive away. Altogether, it’s a peaceful and private lakeside escape to relax and unwind.

Treeview Cottage - Clear Mountain

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Treeview cottage. Wake up in the morning to the sounds of birds and the kangaroos visiting. You have the luxury of being nestled in amongst the trees, and can forget all about the fast pace of city life. If you feel like entertainment the Eatons Hill Hotel, Samford Hotel and Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge are only are short 12 minute drive from the cottage. There are lots of walks within the area and restaurants.

Our space is beautiful light & airy with a modern/country feel. We are close to the national park & tourist drive along Mt Mee road. Our closest town is Dayboro which is lovely to wander down the Main Street & check out the quaint shops. You will be awed by amazing views of the ocean & historic old fig trees. Many hours can be spent looking & listening to the bountiful birdlife. Come relax, & enjoy the peace & quiet.
