We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Once everyone is settled with a beverage, I'll do a quick demonstration to show you the techniques and procedures for making several different styles of rings. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. For those who are interested, you will also have an opportunity to tour our urban homestead and be immersed in the many endeavors we have going. Other things to note: -We have free-range chickens and 2 outdoor farm cats. All are friendly. :) -If you aren't seeing the date or time you'd like available on the calendar, feel free to send me a message and we'll try to work something out if possible! -In order to maintain the very intimate nature of this experience and the value for all guests, we typically do not allow non-participating onlookers. Our Manchac Magic Kayak Tour will start with pickup from 732 N Rampart St. *(Look for van marked Wild Louisiana Tours in front of Ace hardware)* Depending on the day, our tours start at 9:00AM, 12:00PM, and 3:00PM. Morning Tour Pickup: 9AM at 732 N Rampart St. New Orleans, LA Afternoon Tour Pickup: 12PM at 732 N Rampart St. New Orleans, LA Evening Tour Pickup: 3PM at 732 N Rampart St. New Orleans, LA The drive to our tour location is 30-40min. We will make a bathroom stop, if people need it, at a gas station near our launch. You are welcome to bring your own water and snacks, or get some from the gas station. We will begin our tour through the beautiful and scenic Manchac Swamp. Your guide will tell you all about the wildlife and historical significance of the area. We will stop in scenic locations and take pictures and relax under the cypress trees. The tour will last about 2hrs depending on the skill level of the group. We will return to our launch site and load our boats. We will then return to 732 N Rampart St. to conclude the trip. Other things to note: -Gratuities for guides are not included. 20% is a baseline/standard for the tourism industry. -We still go out in the rain as long as it is not dangerous to guests. Lightning, fire, etc. It is good to bring a raincoat just in case.

After you are warmly greeted in our gorgeous tasting room, we will head outside to meet your horse, and learn a bit about safety, steering, and braking. We always leave plenty of time for questions or for cautious riders to get comfortable before setting out. First on the tour we will explore our 35 acre vineyard- the largest in Kansas. We will discuss the grapes, cultivation, and harvesting. Next we will head to the forest trailhead. Enjoy fantastic views of beautiful tall trees, squirrels, turkeys, and deer. Just as you are relaxing on your horse, we will top a hill, and the woods open up to incredible views of our private 25 acre lake. This is a great spot to stop for mounted photos, and take a moment to capture the views, the peace, and the serenity of our estate. Next we'll round the lake and head back into the woods on a new trail that will take you back to the vineyard and finally to the tasting room. We'll help you to dismount, take some pictures with the mighty beast that you are now thinking about adopting, and get you back inside the winery. You have earned your wine! Choose from any of our diverse tasting flights, from sweet to super dry, and select a personal flatbread pizza from our GastroPub menu. Relax and enjoy your afternoon! A lovely three course dinner with a salsa dancing lesson to whet your appetite. The main course is a delightful from scratch cuisine from silk road & India served family style with a wine pour - Dal Fry : Chef's choice of lentils seasoned with variety of spices and simmered to perfection. The seasoning 'Tadka' imparts flavors of ginger, garlic, turmeric, cumin, fenugreek, mustard, lemon or green mango - Basmati rice, cumin, green curry leaves. At times I make a variation with leeks, lemon and raisins - Chicken or Fish tikka masala : The chicken tikka is marinated overnight and goes through three round of spices in its making with hot peppers tapered with a hint of Manukkah honey & mango powder. The fish tikka masala is tamarind infused curry immersion with a distinct flavor. Sparkin’ Suz is offering “make and take” classes in metal fabrication where not only can you gain valuable experience welding, but also take a home creation of your own to prove to others you can indeed weld ;) Whether you’re just getting out of diapers or you’re just getting into them, whether you’ve been welding for years and want to get back in the groove or have never even seen a welder, whether it’s for therapy, fun, or to get some arc time gaining experience toward learning a skill you can make a career out of.. Everyone is welcome and will definitely feel those sparks fly! ;) Well, not exactly feel them as I will have all necessary protective gear to keep you safe. One person, two person, and group sessions available! We’ll start the class by going over some safety. Either before you come to my class you can pick out a project you’d like to build, or just work on scrap pieces I will provide. The class will be what you make it, it’s very individualized! I will match up your skill level and objectives perfectly to trail destinations. You won’t have to worry about hauling bikes, finding trails, getting lost, wasting time or missing anything. I focus on the top trail systems in Northwest Arkansas - Back 40, Blowing Springs, Little Sugar, Coler, Slaughter Pen and Handcut Hollow.

We begin the tour by visiting one of the City's above ground cemeteries, St. Joseph’s, where your tour guide will tell you about the unique way New Orleans celebrates death and why our cemeteries are called “cities of the dead”. We then roll under the shade of the live oak tree lined streets of the Garden District. You will marvel at the beautiful mansions owned by wealthy merchants of the past and celebrities of the present. Time permitting, we will cruise through the Irish Channel to see its colorful shotgun houses, neighborhood restaurants, and hole-in-the-wall po’boy shops. You’ll enjoy a great view of New Orleans’ “Uptown” in 2 to 2.5 hours. Other things to note: -Please dress for the weather and be prepared to be in the sun. -Helmets are not required in the City of New Orleans, but we will provide you with one. -We have a 2 rider minimum (can be separate bookings).
