The farmhouse is 300 years old situated in a working sheep, cattle,and handicrafts farm. Strictly no parties or loud music or Pets allowed. The house is recently renovated where we have exposed the natural stone walls while included modern conveniences. We have a wood burning stove plus electric heating, in the heart of the Boyne Valley with stunning views of Newgrange which is older than the pyramids a must see if you are in Ireland. An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath. Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. (Unfortunately the layout of the building renders it unsuitable for wheelchair users).
