Kendal is 9 miles from Windermere which makes it a great base for exploring The Lake District.

Honeypot Cottage is a converted stable on a small private country estate in the Lake District's Lyth Valley, with private drive, ponds and fields, perfect for exploring the area, well located, rural and peaceful. Abundant wildlife and walks aplenty, the local pub is a short stroll away down a country lane. The unique upstairs open plan living space has a cosy log burner, dining area and compact kitchen and takes full advantage of the scenery with access to the garden via a balcony.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

The Nook at Newalls Retreat- luxury shepherd’s hut

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in a private meadow, enjoying far reaching fell views. Hunker down with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a King sized bed and cosy log burner. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the private fire pit area. Guests can book a private sauna & organic pool session less than a 5 minute walk away.

Scenic walks over limestone Scars from the doorstep. Comfortable double bed, single bunk above with limited head space. Kendal is an attractive market town with an eclectic range of shops, cafes, restaurants. There is a designated parking space for one vehicle beside the hut Bikes can be secured in the log shelter.
