Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Welcome to Felustaður, a unique tiny house situated on a 5 acre farm developed to give you the experience of a nature retreat only 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver. A country setting nestled inside the picturesque riverfront village of Fort Langley, a 3 min drive or 15-minute walk away, where there are boutique shops, coffee shops and restaurants to visit. Hatzic Lake Carriage House

Carriage house - open concept one bedroom suite upstairs and games room (unheated) downstairs. Quiet location at Hatzic Lake with Westminster Abbey and mountain views. Ideal family getaway. Parking for 3 vehicles. Fully equipped kitchen! Fast wifi, 55" Smart TV, books, games, go for a walk, relax in the antique clawfoot tub. BBQ and fire pit. Dock, lake access for kayaking is June to early Sep. (high season). Limit 4 adults per booking with up to 6 guests including children. No events.

Golden Ears View Suite

Beautiful new 1 bdrm unit with picturesque views of Golden Ears mtn in a rural mountain, setting yet close to all the city amenities. The suite is a newer 560 sf unit with s/s appliances, all utensils, full bathroom, HE w/d in suite, full HD cable + wifi incl. The suite has 1 queen bed. A futon mattress or air mattress can be provided on request. Pets are permitted on approval; please contact us prior to booking as we do charge a $50 pet cleaning fee.

The suite has its own living room with Shaw Cable TV - Netflix. Parking included. The suite also has a microwave and fridge in a small no cooking partial kitchenette. There is a full size desk that lowers and raises along with a nice quality office chair with 3 adjustment bars.

The suite includes a large bedroom with a Sterns and Foster king mattress, premium linen, toiletries, 2 bathrobes, cell phone charging system. Family room is bright and cozy with a gas fireplace. All sofas recline, 55” TV with cable and Netflix.

Brand new Morningstair Built home with private secured suite for your enjoyment.
