Our lovely, quiet home is set in leafy Muswell Hill,only 20 minutes from Highgate tube to Central London. The top (second) floor looks mainly south over beautiful gardens towards elegant Victorian houses. The tube and the two vibrant London 'villages' of Muswell Hill and Crouch End (cafes, cinemas etc.) are close by. Woods, open spaces and Alexandra Palace are even nearer. We offer a healthy vegan breakfast and a warm, informed welcome to London. We now have Victor, a very shy, rescue greyhound.

A welcoming, light and spacious double bedroom and own-use bathroom within our home (now just my husband and I) including Continental breakfast. Communal entrance and stairs to 1st floor. A 2nd double bedroom could be available although sharing same bathroom. Safe neighbourhood and perfect travel location for Central London (20 mins by train) and for Richmond, Twickenham, Kew Gardens and Wimbledon Lawn Tennis. 5 min walk to wonderful Richmond Park and an abundance of great restaurants and pubs.

A bright and spacious bedroom located across the top floor of this Victorian maisonette. The comfortable kingsize bed is fitted with a sumptuous wool topper and luxury bedding. The bed always receives rave reviews. There’s a sofa and plants to add that homely feel. The ensuite bathroom is supplied with high-end toiletries and Sheridan towels. There is a large walnut desk, ergonomic chair, DAB radio/Bluetooth speaker, iron, hairdryer and wardrobe with wooden hangers and set of drawers.

Welcome to our Chinese Room, a peaceful retreat, a king-size bed and private en suite shower. The room faces south, overlooking the garden and includes a TV. We are just 5 minutes from the station (15 minutes to Waterloo) and buses to the Wimbledon tennis grounds, with a 7-minute walk to Wimbledon Village. The bed is a double bed - for a 2 night minimum stay with TV and ensuite bathroom/shower. There is a small separate sitting room with coffee & tea making facility, a small fridge, TV & books and a roof terrace which is for my guests sole use. All beautifully decorated. Many small restaurants and transport links. Enjoy the host's continental breakfast in a light & comfortable kitchen. Bus routes are to Sloane Square and beyond. Fulham Broadway, Hammersmith, Knightsbridge and beyond.

Superb transport links to London sights. Or within walking distance visit Greenwich Observatory and take a selfie straddling the Meridian Line to make your own mark in history. If you enjoy shopping artisan Greenwich Market has a mix of entrepreneurial stalls and niche boutique style shops. VisIt Greenwich Park and enjoy a picnic or try one of the many eateries or unique pubs. 20 paces away from your stay is the Guildford Arms with the most gorgeous garden for amazing alfresco dining.

At little Buckhurst we offer a quiet rural setting only an hour from the heart of London by car. You can walk to our local pub and local shops are close too. Down House, Hever Castle, Quebec House and many more local attractions are within a short distance as is Biggin Hill airport. Gatwick is only 30 minutes away and we can offer airport parking by arrangement. Pricing is for one bedroom or you can book 2 bedrooms for double the stated price. Continental breakfast is included.
