Idyllic Peaceful Hideaway

Meadow Cottage is a welcoming, cosy two bedroomed retreat raised from the ruin of a Welsh longhouse. It nestles in a beautiful valley flanked by trees and hills and is the perfect place for a relaxing break. As you approach the property along the narrow country lane, be prepared to fall into the embrace of this peaceful and tranquil location. The cottage is well equipped and has a pretty garden surrounded by fields and woodland with a patio for alfresco dining or just being at one with nature.

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

With the Brecon Beacons on your doorstep there is plenty to do including lots of gardens, castles and mountains to visit. A car is ideal to get around although there is a local bus stop close to the house with a service bus travelling to llandeilo or Llandovery. The nearest railway station is Llangadog.

The river cothi runs through the field and offers beautiful walks. Portable DVD player and a selection of dvds available. Wood fired hot tub. Tea, coffee and milk provided.
