You will be staying in the historic parlor of our 1869 building, offering all the modern amenities in a historic setting. The decor is contemporary and comfortable, with two Queen sized beds, an additional fold out couch, desk&table to spread out comfortably. The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US.

The 'Classic King' at Sunrise Landing has a king bed in a simple, yet cozy studio space. Featuring vintage tongue and groove cedar walls, a sitting area, microwave, fridge, flat screen TV, and, of course, sits just a step away from a great view of the sun rising over our private beach on lake Michigan. (Please note: This is not a full kitchenette, just a mini fridge and microwave in the studio unit).

Guests have separate and private apartment (with Smart Lock) on bottom floor of (occupied) home with private patio overlooking huge ravine. Our home is surrounded by over 20 acres of woods, yet we are only minutes from grocery, restaurants, golfing and beaches.
