La'al Yam is a delightful cosy cottage with wonderful views and full of charm. It is surrounded by gardens and full of wildlife. A place for rest and relaxation, where you can completely unwind. It's the East wing of Hylands, decorated in sympathy with Arts and Crafts principles. Quality finishes and materials throughout, using local suppliers and crafts people. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the 'Rifleman's Arms'.

Enjoy a relaxing break in a beautiful Victorian townhouse in Kendal's historic conservation area, with lovely views over the town & nearby hills. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the large garden or take a 5 minute stroll into the town centre with its restaurants, coffee shops, bars and a wide variety of independent shops. Wander around the ancient castle, look for otters by the river or head off into the National Park to the tourists hotspots-there are frequent trains and buses nearby. Enjoy!

The Mount is a newly refurbished stylish apartment that is part of No 10 Mount Pleasant, a former private girls finishing school. Mount Pleasant and The Mount building is over 200 years old. Situated in Kendal town centre (there's a two minute walk down the hill into town) the Mount is surrounded by local greens and parkland and to the west of the building boasts a beautiful golf course, fell and woodland for keen walkers. Within 100 meters there is a welcoming traditional drinking pub.
