Choose us and experience a private river lot across the road from the house other than just "river access". There are NO steps to the river.

Awesome View is appropriately named; we have nearly a 360 degree view of mountains—Blue Ridge and Massanutten. You have the advantage of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining nook with a view of the mountains, full private bath, 12x12 bedroom, spacious family area, cable, wifi, washer/dryer and private parking within inches of your door. We have furnished games, puzzles, reading materials for your spare moments and relaxing pleasure. We ask that you bring no pets and no smoking, vaping or drugs.

In the heart of the Shenandoah mountains. 1 mile from White Oak Canyon and Old Rag for amazing hikes. Perfect for the fly fisherman (lots of local streams) or a nice quiet get-away for a couple. Once you park your car you can sit back and just listen to the river flowing in the back yard & enjoy a nice beverage next to the fire pit. The property is a very special place! River Overlook Retreat

River Overlook Retreat is nestled on a wooded hillside just uphill from the Shenandoah River in a secluded, natural setting. Crafted recently by an Amish builder (2019), our cozy, two-bedroom cabin has new furnishings, decorations inspired by the outdoors and local artists, fully equipped kitchen, expansive porch and private riverside deck nearby (just downhill) where the view of the river is located.
