Den populære Hauklandstranda ligger ca 15 minutter fra rorbua. Leknes by, flyplass og hurtigruten i kort avstand til rorbua. Ønsker du å prøve lykken i den fiskerike Vestfjorden, er leie av båt mulig. I månedene jan-april pågår det kjente Lofotfisket, og du kan oppleve dette fisket på Ballstad, som er et av Lofotens største og livskraftige fiskevær.

Hytta ligger fantastisk til midt i Lofoten. Det er 15 min. fra Leknes. Rask tilgang til flyplass, kjøpesenter, dagligvarer, restauranter, bensinstasjon og ladestasjon. Hytta ligger 15. min. fra Stamsund om du kommer med Hurtigruta. Henningsvær og Svolvær er under en times kjøretur. Til Golfbanen Lofoten Links ca. 25 min. Ved hytta finner du fantastiske turstier, og populære fjellturer. Direkte tilgang til spektakulær natur. Utsikten fra hytten er enestående, fjell og hav på alle sider.

Fantastiske turmuligheter rett utenfor døren, en tur i marken til fots eller kjøre ski i våre mektige fjell eller bare nyte utsikten utover havet, mulighetene er der. Ha base her hvis dere skal kjøre på ski, butikker å restauranter er 5 min unna i bil. Museum og akvariet ligger 2 km unna. Ha base her og kjøre rundt og nyt alt det flotte Lofoten har å by på av natur og matopplevelser.

Hytta ligger i et av de beste landbruksområdene i Nord-Norge. Veiene og stiene og naturen i fjellene og langs kysten og i bygda her egner seg godt til fine turer. På sykkel og til fots. Eller kajakk. Vi ønsker at alle skal få oppleve naturen så tett på som mulig. Derfor har vi bygget tre små hytter/ hus, med store glassflater overalt, slik at man kan sitte inne og nyte fjellene, horisonten, sjøen , solnedgangene og midnattsolen. Nå er det ikke alltid det sol på øya, så vi har en deilig sofa, som kan bli daybed også, til stunder hvor man vil sitte inne under pleddet, se på regnet og vinden, men likevel får en flott opplevelse av den skiftende naturen.

The cabin is equipped with everything you need, with a large, fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, a living room with a beautiful view, 1,5 bathrooms with shower and washing machine, and a dining room with room for the whole family. Nice fireplace in the livingroom on the second floor.
