Enjoy a visit to our summer home in Oak Park. It's a 1 mile drive through our historic neighborhood to downtown Ferndale. A 2 bed 1 bath built in 1930 was fully remodeled in 2020, including the addition of AC. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do when we come home to work remotely near family twice yearly. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen; we love to cook! But make sure to take advantage of all the bars and restaurants in Ferndale. If traveling with the pup, there's a large fenced-in yard.

There is access to the back deck and fire pit in the (shared) fenced back yard for enjoying a relaxing evening.

Found in the peaceful Piety Hill neighborhood, so unfortunately we do NOT allow gatherings of more than 15 persons. This is a 2-family home, but ONLY YOU will have full access to the entire 1st floor and basement level of this property. The 2nd floor home will NOT be occupied during your stay; just maintenance and cleaning staff.

We are centrally located to most everything in the metro Detroit area. You will have the entire home to yourself with access to the entire first floor. The house is very cozy and set up for a relaxing stay. The kitchen has most everything you need. (Utensils, coffee maker, French press, grinder, tea kettle, tea, condiments, microwave, a toaster oven...) And towels and soap are provided as well. We welcome you to our vintage charmer.
