Close to down hill and cross country skiing, The links walking trails, winery, brewery , distiller. Colleges include Cazenovia, Morrisville, and Colgate, and only 25 miles to Syracuse University. Built by a local carpenter (with help from his dog Indiana), the cabin has enough coziness and charm to make any stay special. Hike down to Mill Creek (on the property), grill up some burgers on the gas grill, or lounge in a hot tub beneath the stars. The cabin is 15 minutes to Ithaca / Cornell, has a living room with a Switch + BluRay + Netflix, and has satellite wifi (30+ MBPS).

Lake is drawn down 10 ft for the NYS Madison Reservoir Dam rehab. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing all continue. No construction noise. Rocky Point sits on a deeper portion of the lake — our dock and waterfront access remain in usable water. You'll just see a wider exposed shoreline than in normal years. Two-bedroom (both queen) cottage with two full bathrooms, trundle for two, 70" Roku TV, fully-equipped kitchen with lake-view dining. Sleeps 6. Five minutes to Colgate.

We are close to Syracuse NY, Jamesville Beach,and Tully. You’ll love our place because - Well, its a Hobbit House :). Very cozy 12 by 12 cabin set in the back of my land right where the woods start. Small cabin good for a couple and maybe a child or two but no more than that. It has an outhouse. If this is sounding too basic or off the grid then please don't book! :) because that's exactly what is. But you also get to say you stayed in a cozy little hobbit house.
