Two bedrooms, a private yard, free parking, full amenities and Derbyshire dales on your doorstep. Youlgreave is a hidden gem in the heart of the Peak District, that feels unchanged through time, it has three great pubs, many walking routes, and a local village store and deli. Bakewell is a few minutes drive away.

Set within 16acres of grassland, with a great view out over the pond, Waters Edge has plenty of wildlife to spot. There is a lovely walk around the local sand quarry with a stop off at the Waggon & Horses and if you fancy something longer you can head up to the cloud or the roaches. Nottinghamshire wildlife trust (SSSI) and Idle Valley 300m away a haven for nature lovers and home to hundreds of wild birds – and even recently, beavers! Great for walking, rambling and mountain bikers. Local village pub nearby and the market town of Retford a very short drive . Kingfishers literally beneath the lodge !

Beautiful secluded romantic lake house retreat

Located right on the water's edge of Rudyard Lake in a conservation area of the Staffordshire Moorlands, this bespoke boathouse conversion is an ideal romantic break for 2 in a very beautiful, quiet setting surrounded by woodland with perfect views up and down the lake. Although we can accommodate 4 in total, Inglenook boathouse is most suited for couples. The sofa bed is comfortable for up to two children but not suitable for two adults.
