Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

Country Escape

My place is close to great views of the Southern Alps and away from the hustle and bustle of city living. It is a peaceful country escape. 10 mins to Darfield & 20 mins to Rolleston, and 30 mins to Christchurch or Christchurch airport. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). We are only a few minutes away from the hot air ballooning and an hour from the ski fields. The nearest golf course is only 5 mins down the road with several others available in the Selwyn district.

Homebush Cottage is part of the 130 year old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route, 8kms from Darfield township and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The Cottage is super comfy and suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering continental breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers !!!

Rose Cottage Pretty Countryside Retreat

This stand-alone cottage sits on our peaceful rural property, giving you privacy, space, and a true country escape. Your own private garden looks out over our paddock, home to Roxie and Sidney, our friendly pet sheep, along with Gem and Wednesday, our adorable miniature horses — a favourite with guests of all ages. Located 2 minutes from State highway 1 and 20 minutes to Christchurch airport and similar time into the city.
