We are situated in a quiet and secluded private compound minutes from Killarney National Park, Conference and Concert Centre, which also offers family-friendly activities. Pubs and Restaurants are also within easy reach. Our rooms are large and ensuite, we offer unlimited free wifi and free secure car parking. Bus and train stations are also only 10-12 minute walk. Bike rentals, which is the easiest way of exploring the lakes and parks, are situated 5 minutes walk from house.

Tailors Lodge Bed and Breakfast Castleisland.

We have 3 bedrooms listed. All have private en-suite bathroom with power showers. All our bedrooms have hotel quality beds, reading lights, USB sockets, and ample sockets in the bedroom. There are 3 major supermarkets a short stroll from our property. Castleisland is a great base for touring Kerry. We offer a self service continental breakfast, Cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast. Tea & coffee. Cooking is not permitted for insurance purposes, there is a microwave available if needed.

The Shed

A 15 / 20 minute drive from Killarney on route to the famous Ring of Kerry in the middle of the Reeks District voted in the top 5 destinations to visit in the Rough Guide. 7 minutes to Killorglin the home of Puck Fair the oldest festival in Ireland. This cottage is set at the foot of the McGillycuddy Reeks with a view of Carrantuohill. Perfect for hiking, walking and cycling... The space sleeps 2 people. The heating is electric. The stove in not in use for burning fuel ....

King bed- ensuite, luxurious and quiet

Bernadette will make you feel right at home. Beautiful views, tranquil area, near the beach, near Kinsale and near Cork airport. Breakfast is self-service so help yourself in the kitchen in the morning. Weekdays we have work/school, so you may hear us in the morning. No smoking allowed anywhere on the property. I am unable to provide a laundry service. Please read the directions to our house and use the eircode in google maps to avoid going to the wrong location.

Master Bedroom En-Suite in Garryvoe (Room Z) with its own private balcony overlooking the ocean. This room also has a link bedroom which can accommodate 2 extra guests*. Access to the self catering breakfast bar area is included. Guests have private self-check in entrance. 2 minute drive to Garryvoe beach, 8 minute drive to Ballycotton Bay. 5 minute drive to Ballymaloe House. *Must book for 3 or 4 people if wishing to avail of the adjacent link bedroom.*
