Just 10 minutes north of Interstate 90 and 1/2 mile from Lake Erie this home is located on a high bank overlooking Crooked Creek, one of this areas popular steelhead fishing streams and is just minutes from The Bluffs State Park and Elk Creek. For bicycle enthusiasts, ½ mile off the Seaway Bicycle Trail. This one story house is has a full kitchen, linens provided. Parking includes area to park a boat trailer.

You've found it! Base camp to enjoy all that west Erie county has to offer. For the fisherman and non-fisherman alike, you'll find it nearby. Walk across the road to Elk Creek and find yourself on prime steelhead water. Explore the array of local businesses - a variety of farmer's markets, antique shops, breweries, restaurants - many less than a 10 minute drive. At the end of the day, kick back next to the fire pit or enjoy the hut tub while taking in the stars. You won't want to leave!

The Little House on Sanford

Our guest house is next door to our home and farm. A one-story, 2 bedroom with a newly remodeled bathroom and cottage style amenities is simple but includes some more modern touches for entertainment a comfort. Trails through the field and woods are available during the Summer and hunting off-season. Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times when outdoors. This area gets a significant amount of snow during the Winter but is right off the highway and a straightforward drive to Lake Erie.

We are located within two blocks of Conneaut Township Park, the beach and the marina. We are also located within walking distance of a few local restaurants This space is also located within an hour of Erie Pa and Cleveland Ohio. We have two other properties nearby if your dates are unavailable.

There is a large deck and fire pit out back, or two gliders on the front porch if you just want to relax. It is a short walk to downtown Girard and some of the best steelhead fishing in the country is nearby. Pets are a welcomed guest. We have 2 bikes, a fire pit and plenty of seating on the oversized deck to enjoy your view of bald eagles flying along the shore. A split air system gives Air conditioning in the entire home makes your stay very comfortable. We are certain you will love your escape to the lake.
