Welcome to the Serenity Retreat! We are on one of the highest peaks between Wimberley and Canyon Lake. Only 3 minutes from the iconic Devil's Backbone Tavern, 16 minutes from floating the river on the Horseshoe/Whitewater Amphitheater, 20 minutes to Wimberley wine country and 25 minutes to both New Braunfels and San Marcos. Enjoy our 13 acres to explore and hike, plus farm fresh eggs depending on the season! We are located down a gravel road about 3/4 of a mile, which can be a little rough fyi.

This newly constructed home feels incredibly spacious for being so cozy. High ceilings and lots of windows allow the natural light in. A fully stocked kitchen will delight the cook in your group. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin, La Perla is a glamping experience set in a beautifully remodeled 1976 Airstream Sovereign. A perfect spot for a weekend get-a-way, creative retreat, or jump off spot for the Wimberley Valley and beyond. La Perla also has a beautiful outdoor shower in a clawfoot tub situated among a grove of heritage oaks. We closed when the pandemic started and are finally open to guests once more.
