A beautiful and tranquil setting, you will find it peaceful and relaxing. Facilities include a double bed in the main bedroom which can be split into two single beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The property is a converted attic space and therefore has a sloping ceiling so be careful not to bump your head! Two nights or more recommended - you will regret it if you don't! Our Orchard Room looks out over our small orchard (figs, plums, apples, pears and cherries, plus grapes in our greenhouse). The Orchard Room offers a kingsize bed without a footboard (better for tall guests!). The spacious Meadow Room (single bed plus breakfast table and vintage sofa) is decorated with original watercolours mainly by Vee and her family. The Black Isle has so much to offer. Nestling on the shores of the Beauly Firth only 10 miles from the city of Inverness, close to the NC500, Killearnan Brae is a luxury self-contained apartment. With boundless bird life including Osprey, the gardens make an ideal spot for birdwatching. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. This distinctive building, renovated both inside and out, started life as a primary school in 1966 and its modernist design is unique for the area. You will be surrounded by art, vintage furniture, natural textiles and amazing views during your stay. The studio is self contained and well equipped with a small but functional kitchen with high quality kitchen and tableware. The Japanese inspired bathroom has been designed to spend time and relax in with a large rain shower and deep bath.

The Factor’s Office, Nutwood House

The Factor's Office is a luxury boutique room, with separate entrance, garden space and ensuite, situated as part of the historic Nutwood House. Formally part of the Earl of Cromartie estate with magnificent views of the valley and less than 5 minutes walk to Strathpeffer village and amenities. Situated in a beautiful peaceful location, a great base to explore the Highlands. There are many activities to enjoy, forest walks, mountain biking, fishing etc. Can also be booked with The Lodge.

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!
