We have plenty of bars and restaurants on our door step and the Beatrix Potter Attraction is around 2 minutes walk. We have parking for one car so you can park up and access all that Bowness has to offer. There are many walks that can be accessed straight from the property. The open top tour bus runs from the bottom of the road. We welcome families and are always on hand to share information.

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
