Double back bedroom in a homely oasis close to Manchester's centre. The house is full of plants, maps & books, plus a woodburner, 2 cats... & 1 friendly human. It's in a diverse inner-city neighbourhood just 2 miles from the city centre & close to frequent buses into town (15mins) & to airport. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen for simple meals and a help-yourself breakfast is included. My cats have big, friendly personalities. If you're not a cat fan, this may not be the place for you!

The golf courses of Royal Birkdale, Hillside and Formby are within easy reach. WWT Martin Mere is 3 miles away and there are numerous walks through the coastal dunes and pinewoods. Tea/coffee-making facilities are provided. If required, continental breakfast is available by arrangement.

Our home has fantastic views over the River Mersey to Liverpool. On street parking in a controlled area . The Lofthouse is a beautiful, redecorated loft conversion which is bright and airy with on suite shower and toilet. Also smart TV , hairdryer, iron on request, tea and coffee making facilities. Light Breakfast served in our shared Kitchen .

We're Karen and Phil, together with our 30 year old son we have lived in our beautiful 5 bedroom Victorian home for 27 years. It was built in 1895 and retains most of its original stunning features! We are conveniently situated 15 min drive from Manchester city centre. The Metrolink is 5 minutes walk away which will take you north, south, east & west of Manchester...including the Manchester Arena and the airport. The M60 - J17 is half a mile away.
