Farmstay Yurt

A simple cozy accommodation on an 30 acre off grid farm in Blockhouse. We are a walk from a large trail system where you can easily walk to the local organic cafe: Chicory Blue for a wholesome breakfast or lunch. This 20'' yurt is set right next to a flowing creek with its own modest kitchenette including small propane oven and a solar fridge. The farm is home to 1 horse, pony, 10 sheep, 2 peacocks, Angora bunnies, chickens, kunekune pigs, goats and a large greenhouse and vegetable garden.

You're perfectly located to explore while enjoying a peaceful place to unwind. Inside you will find a full kitchen, spacious living area, and your own outdoor space. The property is in the heart of one of the South Shore's most picturesque seaside towns. The property is about 1 hour from Halifax and the airport and is walkable to many restaurants, stores, the harbor, and trails. The children's park is steps away, as is the town swimming pool.

Kitchenette and bathroom are separate space, off the main house with its own entrance and private. Not suitable/ mobility issues Peddle into the cove for a closer look at nature. Star gaze and sit by the campfire at night. Hike Gaff Point or walk the oceans shores of over ten beaches on the South Shore!
