This studio ideally suits a single/couple.( Not suitable for children) Ohope - voted NZs favourite beach - great swimming, lovely walks close by or simply walk down the beach. Close to Whakatane - a great little town with boutique shopping and dining venues. Come and relax or take the opportunity to do charter fishing or trip to Whale Island. ENJOY!

Ideal couples retreat - quiet and peaceful with breathtaking water views! Small but cosy studio space with ensuite bathroom, and exclusive use of spa pool. Please note there are no kitchen facilities, however there is a fridge, microwave, electric jug, toaster, tea and coffee included. Lovely deck area to sit and take in the gorgeous views - enjoy coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise or relax with a glass of wine in the evening! The entrance to the famous Nga Tapuwai O Toi walking track is only 2 minutes from our home. If you are into astronomy, the Whakatane Observatory is steps away from our property, open to the public Tuesday and Friday evenings.

We warmly welcome you to our exceptional John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)

Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. This is a great place to unwind and relax.
