I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. This traditional style Irish thatch cottage is a truly unique and cosy property. Self catering with private parking. Situated in North Cork, in the heart of Munster, within an hours drive of major cities in the south. The Cottage is only 500 metre’s, with views of the Galtee Mountains, from the beautiful ‘Famous’ Kildorrery town and a 10 minute drive from Mitchelstown (M7 Motorway). One of the many local amenities include, the Ballyhoura mountains, perfect for hikers or keen mountain bikers.

Urban Tranquilatree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

The village is locally know as 'The Harbour', this stems from the 9th Century invasion of the Vikings who sailed as far as the Monastery in Glanworth. Owenie's Cottage is surrounded by medieval buildings and Old Mills . It is across the road from a castle with walks to the beautiful River Funcheon.
