A twin sleeping nook - perfect for friends or little ones and a luxury master bedroom with king size bed. Enjoy walks up the Knoll and take in views across the Somerset levels. A small local shop and pub are just a short walk and local landmarks, Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury Tor within a short drive.

Come and relax in our beautiful kingsize bedroom with own bathroom in a self contained Annex to our Somerset home near the Shapwick Moor Nature Reserve. Enjoy a delicious breakfast of warm croissants, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, Orange Juice & toast (at a time if your choice between 8 - 1030 am), along with a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. Catcott has 2 friendly local pubs (although King William is currently shut) who do great food within walking distance.

The Snug at Mill Barn - rural retreat

Self catering annex set in beautiful countryside

My place is set on the Polden Hills in the middle of the Somerset levels. We have a small holding with cows, horses, pigs, dogs and a cat. We are close to the moors and wetland, RSPB sites, Clarks village shopping, Quantock hills, cycle routes, 10 miles to coast. Convenient for Millfield school and Hinckley Point. You’ll love my place because of having all the facilities you need in the privacy of your own apartment. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

In the Somerset countryside, the Stableblock is part of Gothelney Farm - a family run farm, focusing on producing food for people that is mindful of both their health & the health of our ecosystem & climate. The fields around the Stableblock are home to our pasture-fed rare breed pigs & also grow cereals used by local bakers, including at the Field Bakery - situated just next to the Stableblock!
