Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. Eco Cabin on beautiful farm close to beaches

Ooaree Farm Cabin is on a beautiful 140 acre farm in Rose Valley. Best suited to couples. The main bed is a king size mattress on a mezzanine level with steep stairs. The sofa turns into a queen size bed. The toilet is a modern composting toilet which does not smell if used correctly. 10 min to beaches, Gerringong and Kiama. It is a working farm and cows may be on the driveway and around the cabin. The drive way is 800 m and unsealed. No wifi, TV and phone reception is patchy.

Silver Birch Studio

Silver Birch Studio is perfect for an overnight or weekend stay in the Southern Highlands for up to 2 adults. This self contained studio has an en-suite, small kitchenette and a deck overlooking the garden. The peaceful location is less than three minutes drive to Mittagong town, which offers a number of great restaurants and cafes. Mittagong is also close to Bowral, Moss Vale and historic Berrima which all offer a variety of markets, art galleries and local wineries.

The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. Come and stay in this quaint mountain getaway. When it's winter, come and sit by the fire in the mist and fog or soak in the claw foot bath. When summer starts, roast in the warm sun surrounded by our beautiful garden. We are 10 minutes walk from the main street in Leura and only 5 mins from Mt Hay road which connects you to scores of bush walks including the trail to Lockleys Pylon and the Shortridge Pass to the Blue Gum walking track.

A fully self contained log cabin with open fire, luxury king size bed. Fully secured pet friendly fence. As an added bonus we are located 15 minutes away from the Southern Highlands wineries and all that the Southern Highlands has to offer. We do not have WIFI.
