Sheep, alpacas and horses graze the paddocks and you may even get a visit from one of our pet kangaroos. From the deck you can listen to abundant bird life and fish rising in the river while enjoying a glass of local wine next to the fire. Close to walk trails, river and beaches come and explore all this amazing region has to offer.

Blackwood River is right at your door step with plenty of walk trails and bike tracks to discover. Come meet Larry, Pebbles & Flossy our resident pet cow and sheep. They will greet you on arrival & there's even feed for their feed bucket or feed them by hand. Town's within strolling distance. The chalet is located on the edge of a 130acre paddock. Relax and hide away in our self-contained cabin in front of the log fire or sit on the decked balcony with a refreshing drink in hand and watch the variety of wild birds and sheep that roam the 90 tranquil acres. The cabin is out of sight so nothing can disturb you except for the sound of the nature. Please note -there is no oven, no wifi. 4WD is preferable for the steep driveway.
