It is well stocked with everything you could need to enjoy your getaway and all that the area has to offer. Many great restaurants within minutes of this location or you can cook your own meals in the full kitchen. We are close to hiking, biking, kayaking and much more. Basecamp in the White mountains

This small cabin has been re-built with new pine paneled walls and ceiling, bunk beds, carpeting, electricity, a new Eco-outhouse!, solar shower and It is located at the edge of a field about 100 yards from our home. It is a perfect base camp for hikers 12 miles south of Franconia notch trail heads and Appalachian Trail crossing. The cabin is most often used by hikers who want a base camp near many of the most popular hiking trails near Franconia Notch. It is a peaceful and quiet place.

A short walk through the garden brings guests to this backyard yurt which was handcrafted on a New Hampshire family farm out of many species of local saplings. The handmade door and large skylight let in lots of natural light; you'll rise and set with the sun and watch the stars from the full-size bed. Two small single-sized floor mattresses fold up to make low chairs. A counter, fridge, and sink allow guests to make simple meals.
