COUNTRY LIVING! My house is located on an acre of land in a rural area, about 4 miles from the heart of Moorpark, I am 45 minutes from Los Angeles or Santa Barbara, and 25 minutes from the beach. I have had people from all over the world stay here and I welcome them all. I just expect guests to accept my dogs. They are big, young, but really friendly. There are animals all around: horses, alpacas, cats and dogs, chickens, peacocks, coyotes, mockingbirds, etc. Some can be heard at night.

It is located on a super quiet residential street, but also a quick walk to a local park, cafes, restaurants, bookstore, and a market. Our cottage is intentionally designed to include (almost) everything you need with lots of small beautiful details. With the warm sunlight and the cool ocean breeze pouring in all at once, it is a wonderful place to relax. We also have a beautiful private cedar hot-tub:)

Founded in 1875 this Old West ranch allows guests to enjoy comfortable living in the Forest. Close to town but with no neighbors for miles. Hike forest trails with access from the property, a private, sustainable off the grid getaway. The Ranch has two spring fed ponds and a creek running through it. Interact with a wide variety of farm animals and experience abundant wildlife. Guests are provided a jeep to explore the majestic hills and the scenic 200-acre grounds.

Often referred to as 'magical, amazing or incredible' we've hosted many guest and many couples have gotten engaged while staying with us.
