Beautiful hay barn, converted into a spacious 900 square foot apartment, fully furnished with living room, kitchen, bathroom, shower, bedroom and private terrace Ganzert is a small hamlet, in central Betuwe, Holland's main fruit producing region within the Gelderland province. The Betuwe is known for an abundance of blooming cherry and apple trees in spring. Ganzert is situated on the Rhine River, very quiet and serene with an air of the Dutch landscape paintings of the 17th century with dikes and windmills. Located on the small estate of Cornucopia Cottage is, besides the hay barn, a thatched roof farmhouse built and 1890 and ecologically and sustainably restored in 2011. We grow our fruit and vegetables fresh and organic, year round. Our guests are invited to our table d'hote for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is not included but can be served on request. Arnold has been a chef and restaurant owner. Naomi is an US expat, teacher and writer. Ganzert is in close biking distance to picturesque medieval cities. The nearest highway is 10 minutes driving distance and an hour from Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. The world famous Kroller-Muller museum in the charming town of Otterlo with the second largest worldwide van Gogh collection is also located in Gelderland.

Authentieke schaapskooi, gezin, vrij, centrum NL

De oude schaapskooi is omgetoverd in een modern gastenverblijf voor gezinnen, gelegen in het coulisselandschap van de Gelderse Vallei, op ruime afstand van de woonboerderij. Het authentieke karakter is behouden gebleven met houten balken uit 1758 en een deels rietgedekt dak. Met uitzicht op oude eiken en een jong bos. OLED TV en goede Wifi (glasvezel) aanwezig evenals een afwasmachine, wasmachine en droger. De schaapskooi is geïsoleerd, met dubbel glas en wordt verwarmd middels vloerverwarming.

Group Accommodation

The accommodation is built with many natural and authentic building materials, giving each space its own unique character. It consists of three apartments and the Hooiberg. The Hooiberg houses the communal area and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's ideal for families or groups who enjoy spending time together and dining together, but also value privacy. The train station is a 10-12-minute walk away (1 km).
