Cozy fireplace will keep you warm in winter. The Stable Suite boasts its own chill out deck with hanging basket chairs to enjoy the beautiful gardens and mountain views. Our suites include luxury  finishes such as handmade camphor wood beds,  free standing baths and separate showers and super king bed Non-smoking with electric blankets, a hair dryer, a room safe, separate bath and shower with guest consumables, gowns,  slippers, and tea and coffee making facilities. ​We invite you to enjoy absolute peace and  calm of the mountains. Our rooms are built with pure relaxation in mind which is why tv's, and radio's are no where to be seen apart from in our function room when the rugby is on  :-)  Wifi is available in our function room. ​Take some time out to unwind. Read that book that you have been dying to read, remind yourself  of  the sounds of nature. Make shapes out of the forming clouds or get cosy when a storm is brewing.

  The Class room Suite build over 50 years ago was used by the Barnes family to home school the kids.  This rondavel is built in a truly Zulu style featuring circles and a thatch roof. Now Stephens favourite room it  boasts its own chill out deck with hanging basket chairs to enjoy the beautiful gardens and mountain views.  luxury  finishes such as handmade camphor wood beds,  free standing baths with views and separate shower. Double Bed. Non-smoking with electric blankets, a hair dryer, a room safe, separate bath and shower with guest consumables, gowns,  slippers, and tea and coffee making facilities. ​We invite you to enjoy absolute peace and  calm of the mountains. Ubicada en el centro de Drakensberg con vistas al Cathkin Peak, esta impresionante villa totalmente equipada cuenta con 2 dormitorios (1 cama tamaño king con baño privado en una habitación y 2 camas individuales en la otra), un sofá cama doble, patio con piscina de chapoteo y barbacoa, así como una amplia sala de estar. Esta unidad totalmente climatizada tiene capacidad para 4 adultos, 2 niños y un bebé, está perfectamente ubicada cerca de una presa donde puedes disfrutar de actividades al aire libre, que también son inclusivas.

La cabaña se encuentra en un microclima único con árboles llanos de 100 años de antigüedad y un bosque de palmeras, creando un lugar fantástico todo el año. El albergue cuenta con ocho modernas habitaciones con baño privado, con capacidad para 16 personas en total. El área de entretenimiento cuenta con un salón de planta abierta, un bar y un comedor. On the ground floor and separated from the lodge by the indoor pool area, this family room has its own private entrance and parking, as well as a patio and garden. This large room is furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed and two single beds. It has both an indoor and outdoor sitting area and can be warmed by a wood-fuelled fireplace. Equipped with an en-suite bathroom, fridge and tea and coffee station. Rates include breakfast and dinner and guests have the option of adding on lunches.

The Maloti-Drakensberg World Heritage is literally a 4 hrs drive from Durban and about 5 hrs from Johannesburg via N3 Do you like Art? If not then let’s pretend you do cuz “Mother-Nature” made a master piece here, with Grasslands, Streams, Waterfalls, Craggy Cliffs..OOOH!! did I mention that you can totally go hiking in this paradise too?
