“In July 2014, Oakland based Blue Heron catering’s Debbie Pfisterer and longtime Bay Area chef Jeff Rosen opened the Cannery Cafe at the Hayward Area Historical Society museum to share their vision of community and soulful, honest cooking of our wonderful Bay Area. Local brunch favorites include their rancheria chilaquiles, Meyer lemon 🍋 ricotta pancakes 🥞 and fried chicken sandwich. The Cannery Cafe is located inside of the Hayward Museum and features DELICIOUS omelets and mimosas! On the weekends, they have live music and it's wonderful to just absorb the history of Hayward and the atmosphere.

Simply good food & drinks, at a good value. Right next door to Hayward's Museum. This cafe is casual and a popular Brunch locale (weekends).
