“One of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and is commonly known as the ‘Little Niagara of Lanka’. The St Clair’s falls is situated 3 kilometers west of the Thalawakale Town on the Hatton-Thalawakale Highway in Nuwara Eliya District. The Kotmale River a tributary of the longest river in Sri Lanka, River Mahaweli is the water source for the falls – which slopes down over three rock outcrops to a large pool of water. The waterfall consists of two falls ‘Maha Ella’ (Sinhalese for the Greater Fall) which is approximately 80 metres high and 50 metres wide while the ‘Kuda Ella’ (Sinhalese for the Smaller Fall) is 50 metres high and located just below the downstream of the Maha Ella.”

“Only if you are nature lover visit this place. If not this will be very boring place to you. Before this place was agricultural land. Sometimes you can see animal species which are specific to Sri Lanka. There is an observation place in moon plains. You can see mountain range in 360°view. And there is a border of central province of Sri Lanka and Uva province. You can capture group photos here with 360 ° view. It is very awesome. ”

“The beautiful Bomburu Ella Falls (also known as Perawella Falls) s a collection of about 10 little-known jungle waterfalls, situated between 1500 and 2000m above sea level in the Sita Eliya Kandapola Forest Reserve. They are served by the upper segment of the principal tributary of the Uma River, known as the Duulgala River.”
