The award-winning King Richard III Visitor Centre is in Leicester city centre, opposite Leicester Cathedral. It has been created around the location where King Richard III's remains were buried for more than 500 years. 10 minute walk. In 2012 the body of King Richard III was found under a car park in this city, and a new visitor centre close to the site tells his story with impressive effects.

King Richard III Visitor Centre is an establishment in Leicester, England, that showcases the life of King Richard III and the story of how his remains were discovered in 2012. The centre opened in 2014 on the site of Greyfriars, the medieval friary in whose church the King was buried.
