The most famous Buddhist (with Taoists contamination of course) temple in Taipei. An iconic view on the spiritual habits of the locals. Nearby, on the west side, there is a night market with street food and clothing, and a covered touristic street with massage saloons and restaurants serving snake or turtle meet. It makes a good combination with the visit to the temple.
