Great place to go white water rafting or rent kayaks for the day. They also have a wonderful outside space along the river with live music and a outside bar with food trucks.

As river rats, we would be remiss not to mention a trip down our favorite river. Less than an hour drive from Asheville, the Nolichucky River is one of the most beautiful in the area. Choose from the exciting upper gorge section or the equally beautiful but calmer lower section. Tell Matt Moses or George that Kat and Benji sent you. :)

World-class white-water rafting on the Nolichucky River! Visit the Take-Out bar for a really cool, relaxing time. Located directly next to the Nolichucky Gorge Campground.
