Pipers Cafe is the best & only cafe in Matarangi. Great coffee, smoothies, food and takeaways without the expensive price tag if you don't feel like cooking. They are open for dinner and often have live music in their courtyard.

Good for that coffee fix and try the Crispy Chicken. Good selection of cabinet food and menu items. Provides takeaways and open for dinner but best to check opening and closing times as this will change according to the season. They also provide catering if you need it - just ask for Brenda.
