Sarinah is not modern mall but it is recommended if you want to see a vast variety of art and handicraft to bring home

The 1st shopping mall in Jkt, The state-owned department store specialises in Indonesian goods and is the best place in Jakarta to shop for authentic gifts and souvenirs. But a lil bit pricey :)
