The USS Yorktown is nestled into Mount Pleasant and the Cooper River Bridge. It is a WWII aircraft carrier that has made its home in Charleston as a museum that is fun for all! Food, drinks, gift shops, and even decommissioned planes add to the attraction of this giant ship.

Interesting for people interested in history, ships and how things work. A full day's worth of activity. Can be combined with Fort Sumter tour. I do not recommend this for hot summer months.

Cool spot to tour multiple ships including an aircraft carrier and submarine. Great views of the Ravenel Bridge.
