Scoglio di Peppino (Peppino's Rock) is a really beautiful beach, however it's also popular, and finding parking on the weekend is a real challenge, so it's better to go mid-week when it's quieter.

The beach of Scoglio di Peppino is located on the border between Muravera and Castiadas in the lower eastern part of Sardinia and is considered one of the most beautiful and popular places in Sardinia. The rock divides the beach of Santa Giusta in the municipality of Castiadas, from the beach of Ginestre, which is instead located in the municipality of Muravera. Easily reachable on foot it is joined by the broom beach by a thin strip of sand. From above it takes the form of a huge turtle (about 99 meters) of white granite but the real beauty lies in everything that surrounds it, that is, a crystal clear turquoise blue sea and a long white sandy beach surrounded by dunes covered with lush Mediterranean scrub.
