Spend the day on the beautiful castle grounds which includes the spectacular castle, cafes & ice cream shops, woodland trails, beaches, parkland, play park, Swan Pond, deer park, a stunning walled garden, Gruffalo Trail and more! Family Tip: We recommend arriving at opening time and parking at the play park car park. You can make your way to the castle via the Swan Pond trail or alternatively bring a picnic and enjoy it on the beach or grounds near the play park.

Culzean Castle is a castle overlooking the Firth of Clyde, near Maybole, Carrick, in South Ayrshire, on the west coast of Scotland. It is the former home of the Marquess of Ailsa, the chief of Clan Kennedy, but is now owned by the National Trust for Scotland.

Designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century, Culzean Castle is perched on the Ayrshire cliffs and is filled with treasures that tell the stories of the people who lived here. A great art collection to view, woods, beaches and play parks to visit too. It is open from 10.30am - 5pm each day
