A beautiful drive out to a beautiful waterfall. Not a long hike at all. And well worth it! Just don’t climb it… too many people get hurt that way.

A short and beautiful waterfall hike! The hike begins off of unpaved Bear Gap Road. Note: slippery rocks and fast moving water can be extremely dangerous! Please don’t climb, stand on, swim near, or jump from any waterfall.

This is the best waterfall I have ever been to. And I've been to a lot. You can climb all the way up because the entire thing is like stairs. Not too crowded. Its a real hidden gem in North GA. Its about 1 hour and 45 minutes north of the treehouse.

Great waterfall right next to Lake Rabun. Only about .25 mile hike!

Minnehaha Falls - best waterfall in Rabun County Author Brian Boyd considers Minnehaha Falls to be the best waterfall in Rabun County. The 60-foot high falls widens as it quickly cascades in 3-5 foot increments to a wide pool at its base. Minnehaha Falls is buried in a wide, steep-sided cove packed with rhododendron, making this an exceptionally beautiful hike in mid-to-late May, when the rhododendron bloom. This falls trail, which is run by the Forest Service, should not be confused with Minnehaha Falls in Minnesota, which is in a park run by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. When Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote about Minnehaha, he meant the falls in this 53-foot waterfall in a 193 acre with limestone bluffs and river overlooks.
