The scenic railway is the world's steepest incline railway! A not to be missed adventure in the blue mountains. Travel down a scream inducing railway through a tunnel and slot canyon to arrive at breathtaking views of the valley and some great rainforest walks. If you have to wait to get first in line (very end of the platform), do so, it'll be worth it getting the front seat. It's a difference experience up and back, so we recommend you do both directions. Although you can take the sceniscender up or back as well. Very popular though, avoid crowded peak times on nice weekends. The rainforest in the drizzle is lovely.

Fabulous views from the viewing platform at Scenic World. Catch the Scenic World Train into the valley and enjoy the beautiful board walk through the rain forest. You can also enjoy the stunning views from the Cable car ride at Scenic World.
