“Hands On! boasts two sections in which kids can play, build, and create. The front part of the building has a little dinosaur dig exhibit and an art station. The back of the building has several interactive exhibits where kids can pretend that they are at the grocery store, ice cream shop, nursery, and stage all situated around a mountain exhibit in the middle which has a slide. Our kids love it so we highly recommend. The only downside is that they charge an entrance fee for adults. ”

“SIGHTSEEING - If you haven’t spent time driving the Parkway... go! Make it a priority. Beautiful sights and breathtaking views. The Parkway is a National Park stretching from Cherokee, NC to the Shenandoah Valley, VA. It is well maintained and loaded with easily accessible in-car overlooks. You can access the Parkway in Asheville (multiple locations), or a few more remote access points above Old Fort/Marion (if you are more adventurous). ”
