Lions and tigers and bears – and so much more, on lovely grounds make the Denver Zoo one of the most popular zoos in America. Go underwater with polar bears at Northern Shores, or eyeball-to-eyeball with a gorilla in Primate Panorama. Predator Ridge recreates the plains of Africa with a pride of lions, while Tropical Discovery is rainforest teeming with crocodiles and gila monsters.

3.3 miles on the edge of City Park. Wonderful animals in cages that are less wonderful.
Whether it's baby animals, new exhibits, or old favorites, there's always something to be wild about at Denver Zoo! Denver Zoo is home to more than 3,500 animals and has championed over 600 conservation and research projects around the world.
The zoo is sure to be a hit for families, especially if your visit coincides with the holidays, as the whole zoo features a light show that's sure to dazzle.
Our zoo is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Our daughter loves the train and the carousel and we like that you can get a craft beer and good food.

“Cherry Creek is an affluent residential district with a vibrant shopping scene. Overlooking the creek itself, Cherry Creek Mall has department stores, high-end fashion boutiques and eclectic eateries. North of the Mall, chain restaurants, relaxed cafes and chic cocktail lounges line the surrounding streets, which are also home to small contemporary art galleries. The Cherry Creek trail is popular with cyclists. ”
