I will recommend this place, if you would like to try the Danish classic: Smørrebrød - in English, an open sandwich on rye bread. Modern style.

The Danish traditional lunch consist of Smørrebrød: The most awesome bread as a base and then you top it with different layers of yum. For the best traditional version of this fabulous type of food, head to Aamanns 1921 and make sure to get it with the Danish sidewagon of beer and schnapps!

Famous for his smørebrød and new Nordic food in affordable settings, this is one of our favorite places, one time the waiter even got yelled at by the manager for not filling our glass enough :O how often does that happen
