Downtown (Cannonborough) : If you love something that is eclectic, out of the box, and spicy- head over to this amazing Asian experience! XBB offers exciting dishes from all over the map, and it is adored by locals and very hip. They definitely operate with a cool, relaxed vibe, so if you want speedy customer service this might not be for you. Would not recommend for families! All of the flavors are for adult palates :)

located inside an old gas station, but serves really good Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Malay food. Also, they have the word “biscuit” in their name, but are one of the few places in Charleston that don’t actually serve biscuits.

Xiao Bao Biscuit is two blocks down the street on Rutledge. Not only is it close, it is delicious, and you can walk. Their cocktails are fabulous, and the food is a Southern/Asian fusion of perfection. Don't be put off by the exterior appearance, this location used to be a service station,
