The south end starting point of this trail is up 11th Ave, a block north of the hospital, just past Beard Street. Follow it east towards the water. Or walk north on Military St and join up with it just past the Beam Dock, on the right. The walking trail follows the waterfront north, past the YMCA, to the Black River. Once you're over there, cross the bridge to downtown and check out Raven Cafe.
