Fantastic Mayfield ice cream treats, friendly staff, sculpture trail with over 35 pieces by resident artist Chazz Elstone in the woods, tree house, swing, pet friendly. Listed in Atlas Obscura, Strange Carolinas, featured on NC Weekend, etc.

A guilty pleasure (20-minute drive): Dozens of flavors of ice cream served from a converted camper van. Enjoy cups, cones, shakes, and sundaes on the multi-level patio or while strolling through a metal sculpture garden created by owner Chazz Elstone.
